Honolulu, HI- On Friday afternoon at St. Louis field, Chaminade fell to the `Lopes of Grand Canyon University by a score of 5-0.
Chaminade was tight early, down 1-0 until the 34th minute when a Tyler Turner follow-up goal put the Swords down 2-0. CUH went into the break down 3-0.
CUH had a few opportunities that just missed goal that would have tightened the action and made Franco Carotenuto make 4 saves on the day. Grand Canyon was led by David Hague and Tyler Turner with two goals a piece, while Alex Neve tacked on two assists in the victory.
The Swords fall to 0-15 on the year and 0-9 in league play. Grand Canyon improves to 13-5 on the year. Chaminade concludes its season on Saturday afternoon at home on St. Louis field. Game time is set for 4PM.
