Chaminade Defeated By Seattle University 8-0

Honolulu, HI- In a game that CUH knew would be difficult, proved to be on Wednesday afternoon, as the Swords were defeated by the Redhawks of Seattle University 8-0.

Chaminade goalkeeper, Darren Smith, former Hawaii State Player of the Year, came up big, helping to slow the Seattle attack. Smith made 19 saves on the day. Seattle had six different goal scorers in the victory, Cameron Mertens and Craig Buitrago had two apiece. Dustin Allbery had 4 assists in the win.

Chaminade falls to 0-4 on the year, while Seattle improves to 6-2 overall.

The Swords have a break, as they don't play until September 29th at home against Pac West foe, BYU-Hawaii. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
