Volleyball Team Sweeps Grand Canyon 3-0
Honolulu, HI- Chaminade wasted little time against Grand Canyon tonight; dominating from the opening serve beating the Grand Canyon Antelopes 3-0
The Swords dominated early winning their first game 30-16, 30-22 and lastly 30- 28. The Swords were able to keep the momentum sustained from the first game all the way through the next two games for the sweep. The Swords had 41 kills to the Antelopes 35.
Samantha Miller lead the Swords with 12 kills and Trina Kauliakamoa had 10.
Dana Edington lead the Antelopes with 11.
The win moves the Silverswords to 10-6 overall, while the loss moves Grand Canyon
7-14 overall for the year.
Chaminade looks to continue their momentum tomorrow night when they host the Grand Canyon Antelopes again at 7:30PM HT at the McCabe Gym.
