Honolulu, HI- It wasn't pretty. Hawaii Select, led by Alvin Stephenson's 19 points, nearly defeated CUH tonight, as the Swords won 85-84.
Junior guard LaMarr Hunt won the game for CUH, knocking down two free throws with no time on the clock for the win.
Hawaii Select shot 54% overall on the night, 44% from three.
Chaminade had four players in double figures and out rebounded Hawaii Select 33-26. The Swords shot 53% from the floor on the evening.
Cord Anderson added 13 points and 8 rebounds in defeat.
The Swords are back in action on November 15th against Golden State Baptist. Game time is set 7:30 PM in McCabe Gym.
