Honolulu, HI- The Swords kept fighting. Two early goals by Northwood proved to be too much, but it didn't stop Chaminade from getting stronger as the game wore on.
Klara Sandquist scored twice in the first six minutes, and Tina Dreier added a goal in the 50th minute for the 3-0 final. Chaminade attacked late, keeping the pressure on, forcing the Knight goalkeepers into two tough saves late in the contest.
CUH was led by Marissa Minor who had 10 saves on the day. Northwood's Klara Sandquist had four shots on goal for the Knight's.
Chaminade is back in action at 1:30 PM on September 18th against Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, CA. It is the league opener and the first of three league games on the road for the Lady Swords. Please check out www.goswords.com for game schedules and results.
