Honolulu, HI- The game was all Chaminade early as the Swords were up 15 early on. Unfortunately, NDNU would not go away and cut the lead to nine at the break.
CUH struggled making shots as NDNU held Chaminade to 38% from the floor and 27% from three. Fortunately, the Argos had no answer for the height of Chaminade as the Swords out-rebounded NDNU 47-23, including 20 offensive rebounds.
Marko Kolaric was a presence inside, scoring 13 points along with 15 rebounds. His block late in the second half ended NDNU's comeback bid. Stewart Kussler added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the win.
Ryan Cooper led the way with 20 points including 3-6 from three. Chris Clock added 15 and Dan Bergeron had 14 points in defeat.
Chaminade moves to 11-4, 6-0 with the win, NDNU moves to 4-8, 0-4 with the loss.
The Swords are back in action tomorrow against NDNU. Game time is set for 7:30 PM in McCabe Gym.
