Honolulu, HI- It was over before it started. The Swords started out hot, going on a 12-0 run and the game went to the half with a 51-29 Chaminade lead.
Mike Green continued his recent tear with 21 points in 26 minutes of action. The Swords had six players in double figures, with Patrick Collier adding 20 points on 6-12 from behind the arc.
The Swords out-rebounded Dixie State 50-23. Stewart Kussler had 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Rodrick Johnson also had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
The Swords had 29 assists on 34 baskets on the night.
The Rebels were led by Kasey Winters with 15 points and 6 rebounds.
Chaminade moves to 7-4, 2-0 with the win, Dixie State moves to 3-8, 0-3 with the loss.
The Swords are back in action on January 9th against HPU. Game time is set for 7:30 PM at the Neal Blaisdell Center.
