CUH MBB: Swords Suffer Setback to Central Washington 92-81

Chaminade has five in double figures

SEATTLE, WA- The #23 ranked Swords dropped their second game in a row this evening, falling to the #24 Wildcats of Central Washington 92-81 in Brougham Pavilion on the campus of Seattle Pacific.

The difference was rebounds and bench play as the Wildcats outrebounded Chaminade 39-28 and scored 36 points off the bench to the Swords 8. 

Senior Steven Bennett led the way with 18 points and 6 assists for Chaminade and juniors Chris Curtis and De'Andre Haskins added 17 and 16 points repectively in defeat.  The Swords also had double figure efforts from Shane Hanson (12 points, 7 rebounds) and Mamadou Diarra (10 points, 7 rebounds).  

Chris Sprinker led Central Washington with 21 points.

Chaminade falls to 5-4 while Central Washington improves to 7-0.
