Biography

2009-10: Had a standout junior year for Chaminade. Led CUH in scoring with 17 ppg as well as 5 apg. Had a season high 37 points against HPU on January 14th. Started 24 of 25 games and was second in minutes played with 32 a game. Was named a Second Team All Pac West selection. 

Citrus College: Bennett helped lead the Fighting Owls to a 63-6 record in his two seasons, including a State Championship in 2008 and a State “Sweet 16” run in 2009. In 2009, Bennett was second on the team averaging 10.7 points per game and led the team with 126 assists (3.8 apg). Bennett was named a 1st team All-WSC selection. 

High School:Played at Dorsey High School for Coach Gibson. Was an all-conference selection his senior year. 

Personal: Born in Los Angeles, CA. The son of Traice Ruben, Steven has two siblings, Taelor and Lauryn.
