Honolulu, HI – The Lady Swords concluded their 2010 season tonight in McCabe gym with a loss to Brigham Young University @ Hawaii, falling BYU Hawaii 73 to 39. Chaminade bids “Aloha” to seniors,
Kimberly Kishi and Demyla Rodriquez.
Chaminade trailed 36 to 25 at the break, during the first half CUH lost the rebounding battle 13 to 20 during the first half.
Jordan Ahakuelo, who added 9 points, led Chaminade and CUH's Kellene Costello finished out her junior campaign with 8 points for the Lady Swords.
While BYU- H was led by Richelle Rieben led the way with 27 points and Erin Dastrup added 12 points.
CUH also lost the turnover battle by a close margin 16 to 17.
With the loss tonight, the Lady Swords conclude their season with a record of 1-22 overall and 1-15 in the PacWest. While BYU-H closes out their 2010 basketball season with a record of 6-19 overall and 5-11 overall in the PacWest Conference.
