Box Score BELMONT, CA- The Silverswords fell to the Argonauts of Notre Dame de Namur 63-52 at Gleason Gym on the campus of NDNU.
Chaminade got off to a great start and lead 5-0 following a made three by senior point guard

NDNU responded with a 17-7 run over the course of nine minutes to lead 27-20 with 6:17 left in the half. The Argos led by thirteen points at the half, 37-24. Freshman
Sabrina Angle (Pearl City, HI/Pearl City) led Chaminade in the first half with 5 points. CUH shot 31% from the floor in the first half, while NDNU shot 36%. The Swords committed 14 first-half turnovers while NDNU committed only 3.
The Argos maintained a thirteen point lead at 46-33 following a made basket by CUH senior
Rhani Kaneaiakala (Waimanalo, HI/Kamehameha-Kapalama) with just over eleven minutes left in the second half of action. CUH could not close the gap as NDNU held on down the stretch for a 63-52 win.
Sabrina Angle led CUH with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Sophomore
Hanna Curtius (Medford, OR / South Medford) added 9 points and 4 rebounds while
Dianna Zane added 5 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
The Swords battled on the boards, losing the statistic by one rebound, 43-44.
NDNU was led by Maya Arellanes with 19 points.
Coach Keanini commented on the loss: “We just had a tough time making shots and they made theirs. We battled hard, but made a couple bad decisions.”
With the defeat, Chaminade moves to 1-13, 1-8 PWC. With the win, NDNU moves to 2-14, 1-7 PWC on the year. The Swords face Academy of Art on Saturday, January 26
th in San Francisco, CA. Tip is set for 1:00 PM PT at the Kezar Pavilion.
