HONOLULU – The Chaminade University women's basketball team fell to Hawai'i Pacific University, 92-58, in a Pacific West Conference game Sunday at the Neal Blaisdell Center.

The Nanakuli native reached the feat with a fade-away jumper at the 3:38 mark of the first quarter and ended the day with 1,017 career points. She needs 125 to pass Samantha Saito to become the program's all-time leading scorer.

VeAnne Navarro led the Sharks (4-2, 2-0 PacWest) with 22 points.

The game was locked in a 17-all tie after the game's first 10 minutes but HPU's 24-6 second quarter helped give them a 41-23 halftime lead which Chaminade could not recover.
