HONOLULU – The Chaminade University men's basketball team's game against Lincoln University on Tuesday was called due to unplayable floor conditions at McCabe Gymnasium.
The humid weather made the floor slick for both teams as the game progressed, presenting a safety issue.
The game's officiating crew called the game at halftime with the Oaklanders, coached by pro basketball Hall of Famer Gary Payton, leading 30-18.
The remainder of the game will not be made up. The two teams will meet again on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at McCabe. The game will follow the Chaminade women's season debut against Multnomah University at 5:30 p.m.
