2009-10: Averaged 10.9 ppg to go along with 5.6 rebounds in junior campaign. Had 19 points in a 77-64 win over UH Hilo on December 11th. Led the team with 61 three pointers, shooting 36% from behind the arc. Also led the team in FT percentage at 96% (23-24).
2008-09: Played in six games for Swords before injury. Received medical redshirt.Prior to injury Hansonproved to be a major factor for Chaminade. Had 15 points and 9 rebounds against eventual Division I National Champions, North Carolina. Averaged 10.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in six games.
UC-Davis: Played for Head Coach Gary Stewart at UC Davis from 2006-08.
2007-08 (Sophomore): Played in 27 games making 23 starts for the Aggies. Averaged 28 minutes a night, scoring 10.0 ppg to go along with 3.9 rpg and 2.4 apg. Shot 40% from three on 53 makes. Had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists against Cal State Fullerton on Feb 14…19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists against Cal Poly on January 24th. Had 12 points against Texas and 11 points against UCLA in early season action.
2006-07 (Freshman): Played in 22 games, making 4 starts during November... Scored 105 points (4.8 ppg) with 43 rebounds (2.0 rpg) in 347 minutes... Had three double-figure scoring nights, including 15 points and 11 rebounds vs. Columbia during CBE Classic (11/13)... Hit 5-for-10 from three-point range in that game... Scored 14 points - including 4-for-8 from beyond the arc - with 3 steals in his next game at UTEP (11/16).
High School: Earned All-Southern Section and All-Riverside County honors as a sophomore and senior... Named to All-Southwestern League and All-Valley squads for three straight years... Averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 blocks per game as a senior... Scored 12 points with 7 rebounds per game as a junior, after posting averages of 18 and 9 in 2003-04... Ranked among top 25 in his class academically for four years... Played three years of club ball for Inland Reebok in Moreno Valley, Calif.... Selected to All-Reebok first team... Personal: Born in Corona, California. The son of Neil and Donna Hanson, Shane has two sisters, Brooke and Bailey. Uncle, Steve Busby, was a two-time All-Star pitcher for the Kansas City Royals in the 1970s.
