Biography
2011: Started all 23 matches for the Swords. Finished second on the team in kills, averaging 2.17 per set. Finished tied for second on the team in digs, averaging 2.66 digs per set (213 total digs).
2010: Appeared in 56 sets. Totaled 30 kills, 9 assists, 7 aces, 120 digs and 40 blocks.
2009: Stepped in the Silversword lineup right away and put her imprint on the Chaminade attack. Second on the team with 281 kills and first on the team in digs with 335. Led the team in pts per set with 2.98. Had a season high 18 kills against Grand Canyon on October 13
th.
High School: A standout at Kamehameha-Kapalama, Viveiros played on highly successful Warriors teams. With a high school career record of 44-4, Viveiros was named to numerous 2008 teams. She was named to the Star-Bulletin Fabulous 15, the ILH First Team, the All-State Volleyball Team and the HHSAA State Championship All-Tournament First Team.
Personal: The daughter of Nalani and William Viveiros , Whitney was born in Hilo, Hawaii. One of two children, Whitney has one brother, Kenui. Hobbies include: going to the beach, paddling, and listening to roots music.
