Biography
2010: The Silversword leader in kills (2.48 kps). Gantt started all 23 matches for CUH. Had a hitting percentage of .158 on the year. Gantt finished second on the team in digs with 3.33 per set.
Previous College: Attended Humboldt State in 2007-08, and Orange Coast in 2009-10. Averaged 4 kills, 4.07 digs per game for Coach Chuck Cutenese. The Pirates finished the year 26-3. Excelled at Orange Coast, winning the state championship and being named CCCAA first team all conference team, first team all regional team and first team all tournament team. Was also Team MVP.
High School: A four-sport standout for the Warriors of Kapaa High school. Competed in Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Track and Field. Competed for Coach Kealalio, was named four years KIF All star. 05-06 KIF player of the year, HSAA honorable mention and KIF Champions. Won a KIF title for basketball in 2006 and another title in Soccer during the 2006 season.
Personal: The daughter of Paul and Edna Gantt, Poerava was born in Moorea, French Polynesia. One of four sisters, Cecile, Vaihiria and Manuia. Hobbies include shopping, working out and eating.
