Biography

Career:  Is the program's career leader in batting average at .416 ... hit 13 homers, 65 RBI and 51 runs ... has a career slugging percentage of .679 ... has 45 career extra base hits (25 doubles, seven triples, 13 home runs) ... fielding percentage of .933.

2013 (Senior):  Named All-Pacific West Conference Second Team shortstop and team's Most Outstanding Player after guiding the Silverswords to their first 20-win season in 11 years ... led team with .401 average, ranking eighth in the PacWest ... also led team in nearly every major offensive category including home runs (9), RBI (35), runs (29), doubles (12), on-base percentage (.426) and was tied in triples (3) ... led the PacWest in slugging percentage (.679) and ranked as the 34th toughest batter to strikeout at 27.0 (6 Ks, 162 ABs) ... had 22 multi-hit games including seven three-hit contests ... had nine multi-RBI games ... had two three-RBI games and two four-RBI contests ... had 96 putouts and led team with 116 assists ... garnered back-to-back PacWest Player of the Week honors (April 3 and 8) ... was named to the Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team for the second straight year after battting .474 (9-for-19) with 12 RBI, four runs and three home runs during the tournament ... had a two-homer game vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills (April 6) ... batted .476 (10-for-21) in season's final six games ... hit go-ahead homer in the eighth inning in 1-0 win at Hawai'i-Hilo (April 14) ... homered in her final game as a Silversword vs. UH-Hilo (April 28).

2012 (Junior): Was named to the 2012 Daktronics, Inc. Division II All-West Region Softball Second Team. Was also named PacWest Newcomer of the Year. Strom-Okimoto also earned a pair of All-PacWest awards after claiming First Team honors as a utility player and Second Team accolades as a shortstop. Was named Chaminade's Female Student-Athlete of the Year. Named to the Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team. Rayna hit .433 in 2012, going 58 for 134 at the plate with 22 runs, 13 doubles, four triples, four homers and 30 RBI in 47 starts.
 
Previous College: Played two seasons at Southern Oregon University for Coach Kim Fritts. Rayna had an impressive year in 2011, batting .430 with 10 home runs, 37 RBIs.  Was named to the All-Cascade Conference team
 
High School: Rayna competed for the Aiea High School Na Alii softball team from 2005-2009 and was awarded most outstanding player (2009). Strom-Okimoto was also named to the Hawaii State Division II All-Tournament Team. Rayna was named First team Division II in 2006.
 
Personal: Born in Honolulu, HI, Rayna is one of three children. She has two younger sisters Raisa, and Rachelle.  Her hobbies include going to the beach, hiking, and hanging out with friends. Majoring in Psychology at Chaminade.
