Biography

2016 (Senior):  Named to the Academic All-Pacific West Conference honor roll ... was 4-16 with 6.33 ERA ... set career-highs in every pitching category ... made 27 appearances with 21 starts while tossing two shutouts ... pitched 97 1/3 innings, allowing 164 hits with 105 runs (88 earned) with 40 walks and 31 strikeouts ... named Pacific West Conference Pitcher of the Week twice (Feb. 16 and April 12) ... tossed one-hitter -- program's first such occurance in over a decade -- in 5-0 win over BYU-Hawai'i (April 8) ... opened the season with 12 straight scoreless innings ... had season-high three strikeouts four times including final career start at Hawai'i-Hilo on her home island (April 29).

2015 (Junior):  Named to the Academic All-PacWest Team... made six appearances, all in relief ... did not have any decisions with an 8.56 ERA ... pitched nine innings, allowing 11 runs on 16 hits eight walks and three strikeouts ... had a season-high three innings pitched vs. Simon Fraser (Feb. 9), allowing three runs on five hits with two walks and a strikeout ... season-best two Ks vs. Faulkner (March 17).

2014 (Sophomore):  Made 11 appearances with one start ... went 1-3 with a 4.09 ERA, tossing 26.2 innings, allowing 24 runs, 15 earned, 43 hits with seven walks and five strikeouts ... first career win came in a relief role against Dominican on March 13, pitching two-thirds of an inning allowing no runs with two hits and two walks ... made only start of the season against Azusa Pacific, allowing one unearned run in 3.2 innings ... had a career-high three strikeouts in 2.1 innings of relief in a win against Academy of Art (March 18).

2013 (Freshman):  Played seven games as a pitcher with three starts ... went 0-2 with a 6.87 ERA ... had six plate appearances, scoring one run.

High School:  A 2012 graduate of Waiakea High School on the Big Island ... competed in bowling and softball all four years at Waiakea and soccer in her junior year ... was awarded Female All-Around Big Island Athlete of the Year her junior year for her accomplishments in bowling, soccer, and softball ... during her junior year, she was the Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion in bowling, excelled in soccer ... helped lead Waiakea to an undefeated season, winning the BIIF softball title ... in the summer of 2012, played on the Nobu Yamauchi RBI summer softball team and went to regionals in both Las Vegas, Nev. and Los Angeles, Calif.
 
Personal:  Parents are Craig and Pamela Camello, both are taking classes at Chaminade ... has two older step-siblings, Sidney and Stacey Sakamoto,  both Hawai`i-Manoa graduates ... born on the Big Island in Kealakekua-Kona ... double-majoring in English and Social Studies with a minor in Psychology ... hobbies include arts and crafts, fishing and aquariums ... serves as Vice President of the Chaminade Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Secretary of the Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society during the 2015-16 academic term.
