Biography

2013 (Senior):  Named to the Pacific West Conference All-Academic Team ... played in 15 matches, making 14 starts ... attempted nine shots, five on goal ... logged a .556 shots  on goal percentage ... named the team's Scholar-Athlete.

2012 (Junior):  Stared 15-of-16 matches for the Swords.  Finished fifth on the team with three points on a team-best three assists.

2011 (Sophomore): Started eight games, competed in 15.  Recorded one assist. 

High School:  A soccer standout for the Hunters of Canoga Park High School. Started at Center Midfield. Starter on the varsity soccer team from 2006-10 and was named soccer team MVP in '09-10. Was CIF First Team All Conference that season.  
 
Personal: The son of Jose I. Carranza and Norma E. Carranza, was born in Woodland Hills, Calif.  One of three children, he has one brother, Alexander Hernandez and one sister, Kelsey.  Hobbies include: Going to the beach, working out, reading, and watching movies.
