Career:  The school's all-time leader in points (18) and goals (9).

2013 (Senior):  Honorable mention all-Pacific West Conference selection and to the PacWest All-Academic Team ... started all 11 games played, missing five contests due to injury ... attempted 27 shots, 10 on goal for a .370 percentage ... averaged 2.45 shots per game ... returned from injury to play on Senior Day against Hawai'i Pacific, scoring only goal of the season on six shots (Nov. 9) ... attempted a season-high nine shots on goal against Dominican (Oct. 14) ... named the team's Most Inspirational player.

2012 (Junior):  Enjoyed one of the top seasons ever by a Sword.  Scored a school-record 16 points on eight goals scored, also a program record.  His goal in the 86th minute against Hawai`i-Hilo (Sept. 17) sent the match into overtime, as the Swords eventually won the contest in the second OT, ending a 33-match winless streak dating back to Sept. 2010.  Was a key component of the Chaminade attack as the Swords scored 17 goals on the season, after having only three in 2011.  Averaged 2.81 shots per game, ninth-best in the Pacific West Conference.  Attempted 45 shots, 25 on goal for a percentage of .556.  Named to the PacWest third team for midfielders, only the second Sword ever named to the all-conference team (Keenan Ho, 2009) ... named the team's Most Outstanding player.

Bowling Green:  Competed for two years at Bowling Green State University, where the Falcons were 13-17-6.  Played in 17-of-18 matches his freshman year and started 12, playing a total of 1054 minutes and accumulating three assists. Named to the MAC All-Tournament First Team.  Started in the first 11 matches at center-midfield in his sophomore season, helping the Falcons to a 7-3-1 record.  

High School:  A soccer standout for the Indians of Copley High, started every game of his high school career for the varsity team.  Played at center-midfield or forward.  Was first team All-Ohio, two-time first team all-district, and three-time first team all-league.  Also played on the Akron PDL team and the Region II ODP team.  Was a starter on the junior varsity baseball team as a freshman before focusing his talents in soccer.  Was also president of the Environmental Club as a senior.

Personal: The son of Scott and Krista Galloway and was born in Akron, Ohio.  The oldest of three children, Sam has a brother, Forest and a sister, Kaylyn. Hobbies include: beach, hiking, music, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors related.
