2015 (Senior): Named to the Academic All-Pacific West Conference honor roll ... started all 17 matches ... had one assist at Dixie State (Oct. 31) ... logged a team-high 1,495 minutes played ... played the entire match 14 times, including all 100 minutes vs. Hawai'i-Hilo (Sept. 17) and all 90 at Concordia despite temperatures reaching over 100 degrees ... attempted 40 shots, 16 on goal ... had a .400 SOG percentage.
2014 (Junior): Named Chaminade's Female Student-Athlete of the Year ... earned All-Pacific West Conference Second Team honors, the first Silversword to garner postseason kudos since 2008 ... earned PacWest Player of the Week honors on Sept. 29 with three combined goals vs. Holy Names (Sept. 23) and Dominican (Sept. 25) ... game-winning goal against Holy Names helped lead Silverswords to program's first-ever win on the Mainland ... against Dominican, scored twice in a span of six minutes, becoming first 'Sword since 2009 with a multi-goal game ... led team in points and goals ... had 10 points, second-most in a single season, tying her own mark ... scored five goals, second-most in a single season ... played all 15 games, making 13 starts ... had streak of 41 consecutive starts snapped vs. Point Loma due to injury (Oct. 11) ... had a .522 shots on goal percentage (12 SOG, 23 attempts).
2013 (Sophomore): Started all 16 games ... led the Silverswords in points (5), goals (2), shots (37) and shots on goal (23) logged a .622 shots on goal percentage ... was 1-for-1 in penalty kicks (at Hawai'i-Hilo, Sept. 14) ... scored three points with a goal and an assist at Dixie State (Sept. 30), attempting four shots, all on goal, which was a season-best ... attempted a season-high five shots at Azusa Pacific (Oct. 5).
2012 (Freshman): Started all 16 matches for the Swords as a freshman. Had a team-high 10 points. Recorded four goals and two assists. Attempted a team-best 37 shots, 21 on goal ... named the team's Most Outstanding player.
High School: A soccer standout for the Raiders of Iolani High School, Twyla started at outside midfield. She was a starter on the varsity soccer team from 2009-12. Was named ILH second team, all-tournament team and first team all state in 2011. In 2012, Hamasaki was named ILH first team, all-tournament team and first team All State. Hamasaki also served as the co-President of Psychology Club for Iolani High School in 2011-12.
Personal: The daughter of Ricky and Karen Hamasaki , Twyla was born in Honolulu, Hawa`i. Hobbies include: beach, hiking, doing nails, and shopping.
