2015 (Senior): Named to the Academic All-Pacific West Conference honor roll for the third straight year ... was the team's Most Inspirational Player ... played 15 matches with six starts including the final two career contests ... attempted three shots ... logged 432 minutes ... played 46 minutes in final home match vs. Hawai'i-Hilo (Nov. 5) and 48 minutes at Dixie State (Oct. 31) and in final career match at BYU-Hawai'i (Nov. 7) ... attempted three shots.
2014 (Junior): Named to the Academic All-Pacific West Conference Team ... was a reserve goalkeeper but did not see action in the net ... played one game in the field.
2013 (Sophomore): Named to the Pacific West Conference All-Academic Team ... played in nine games, all in the field ... attempted one shot against Hawai'i Pacific (Nov. 9).
2012 (Freshman): A versatile player on the field, played in 15 matches with two starts as a position player. Attempted four shots, one on goal.
High School: A soccer standout for the Warriors of Kapa`a high School. Started on the varsity soccer team as a goalkeeper in her sophomore year and was named an all-area goalkeeper. Varsity basketball player for three years and a starter in both 2011 and 2012. Ran cross country and track for four years and competed in bowling her senior year. Matayoshi also was a member of Kapa`a’s digital media team and won statewide contests, allowing commercials to run on local channels and helped win prize monies for the school. Matayoshi graduated cum laude and was voted 2012 Most Athletic Female.
Personal: The daughter of Fred and Dominique Matayoshi, Raquelle was born in Lihue, Kaua`i, and has one sister, Gabrielle and one brother, Mikela. Hobbies include: beach and hanging out with friends.
