Biography

Career:  All-time leader in points (35), points per game (0.88) goals (16), goals per game (0.40), shots per game (3.10) and shots on-goal per game (1.58) … tied for fifth in assists (5).
 
Fall 2021 (Senior):  Utilized NCAA season-of-competition waiver for an extra season of eligibility … Academic All-PacWest ... started 11 matches with 888 minutes … helped Silverswords win program-record seven matches and achieve first-ever .500 (non-COVID-shortened) season … tied for team lead with three goals and six points … attempted 39 shots … finished among Pacific West Conference leaders in shots (3.55 per match) and shots on-goal (23) … SOG percentage of .590 … played all 90 minutes seven times … recorded third career multi-goal game in season’s final match at Holy Names (Nov. 1) … attempted season-high six shots twice … had three games with four shots on-goal.

Spring 2021 (Senior):  Became first Silversword in program history to earn PacWest Player of the Year honors … named to the PacWest Hawai‘i Pod Team and Academic All-PacWest … three-time PacWest Hawai'i Pod Player of the Week (Feb. 22, March 1, March 8) ... Chaminade’s Female Athlete of the Year and team’s Most Outstanding Player … started all four matches … scored five goals and 10 points … set school records for goals per match (1.25) and points per match (2.50), both of which led the PacWest … led the conference in shots per match (5.00) and second in shots on-goal (11) … scored the game-winning goal in the season opener vs. Hawai‘i Pacific (Feb. 20), the team’s first win over HPU since Sept. 6, 2008, snapping a 24-match winless streak (including one tie) against the Sharks … attempted 20 shots, 11 on-goal .. played all 90 minutes in the team’s final two matches including in the team’s PacWest Hawai‘i Pod title-clinching match vs. Hawai‘i Hilo (March 13), the team’s first-ever pod title.
 
2019 (Junior):  Earned All-Pacific West Conference Third Team honors … Academic All-PacWest … led team in points (9) and goals (4) … had tying goal and game-winning assist in 2-1 win over Notre Dame de Namur (Oct. 6), program’s first-ever win against the Argonauts … had goals in three of the team’s first four games … played 882 minutes … attempted 29 shots, 10 on goal.

2018 (Sophomore):  Named to the All-Pacific West Conference Third Team ... team's Most Outstanding Player ... played all 14 matches with 13 starts ... led team in goals (4), assists (2) and points (10) ... points is tied for third-most in single season while goals is tied for fifth-highest ... ranked 10th in the PacWest in points ... one of just nine players in team history with multi-assist season ... took 36 shots, 19 on goals, both team-highs with SOG percentage of .528 ,,, eighth in the PacWest in shots and shots per game (2.57) ... had first two collegiate goals vs. Hawai'i Pacific (Sept. 15), just fourth player in program history to record multi-goal game ... first goal vs. HPU came at 6:20, fifth-fastest in team history ... goals in back-to-back matches (at Notre Dame de Namur, Oct. 7; Biola, Oct. 13) ... recorded assists in back-to-back matches (at Fresno Pacific, Oct. 24; at Holy Names, Oct. 27).

Previous School:  Played freshman season (2017) at Division I Hawai'i ... played in 11 games, seeing 218 minutes of field time ... logged season-high 40 minutes at Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 26).

Prep:  A 2017 graduate of Pearl City High School in Pearl City, O'ahu ... earned all-state second team, All-O'ahu Interscholastic Association West Division First Team and ScoringLive All-Hawai'i honorable mention kudos in senior year ... helped guide the Chargers to a fourth-place finish at the 2017 Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division I Championships ... named all-state first team, All-OIA West First Team, Honolulu Star-Advertiser Stellar Eleven and ScoringLive All-Hawai'i honorable mention after helping lead PCHS to the 2016 Division I state championship, the school's first since 1997 ... played club soccer for Honolulu Bulls.

Personal:  Parents are Randy and Aloha Fontes ... has a brother, Kainalu, and four sisters, Chelsey, Treasure, Sunshine and Abby ... majoring in Nursing ... would like to be a RN at Kapiolani Medical Center NICU after graduation ... likes to go to the beach, drive around the island and hang out with family and friends ... loves the Oakland Raiders and rap music.
