Fall 2021 (Junior):  Played 13 matches with two starts in 35 sets … helped Silverswords win first Pacific West Conference title since 1996 with a program-record 27 wins and a berth in the NCAA West Regional … also helped them achieve first AVCA national ranking since 2005 … totaled 44 digs and four service aces … had three nine-dig matches … had all three season’s assists at Academy of Art (Sept. 27).

Previous School:  Attended College of Southern Idaho in Twins Falls, Idaho.
Spring 2021 (Sophomore):  Played 20 matches with eight starts in 68 sets played … finished third on the Eagles with 240 digs and fourth in digs average at 2.44 … had seven service aces … posted nine matches with double-digit digs … season-high 15 digs at Odessa College (Jan. 23).
2019 (Freshman):  Played in 26 matches with action in 70 sets … finished fourth on CSI with 174 digs and a 2.49 digs average … totaled 20 kills and 16 aces … posted seven double-digit dig matches … had 17 digs and three kills vs. Arizona Western (Sept. 14), both career highs … put down three aces vs. Central Wyoming (Aug. 30).
 
Prep:  A 2019 graduate of Farrington High School in Honolulu … a three-time all-O‘ahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) East Division First Team selection during sophomore, junior and senior seasons and the second team as a freshman … was also named to the all-state team as a sophomore and junior … a four-year varsity starter at outside hitter, she helped the Governors reach four Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Girls Volleyball Championships including three Division I appearances in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons … had a team-high 15 kills in the tournament’s opening round loss to Kahuku in the 2018 tournament … as a freshmen, helped Farrington finish third in the HHSAA Division II Championships, totaling 31 kills and 34 digs during the tournament including a 14-kill effort in their semifinal win over University High … played club with the Aloha State Volleyball Club.
 
Personal:  Parents are Talbot and Aleka Kahakai … has two sisters, Savanah and Shaunalei, and two brothers, Kamakani and Syracuse … Savanah played four years at Division I Hawai'i (2014-17) and is second on the program's all-time digs list with 1,417 ... majoring in Criminal Justice … loves to sing to friends and family … hangs out with family most of her free time.
