2022 (Senior):  Academic All-Pacific West Conference ... D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... utilized NCAA season-of-competition waiver to have a year of athletic eligibility restored ... played eight matches with seven starts, totaling 587 minutes ... had a streak of 23 straight starts without being subbed out end at Hawai'i Pacific (Sept. 20).

Fall 2021 (Junior):  Academic All-PacWest ... D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... started all 13 matches and played all 1,170 minutes … helped Silverswords win program-record seven matches and achieve first-ever .500 (non-COVID-shortened) season … part of defense which allowed just 12 goals … attempted four shots, two on-goal … ended season with 19 consecutive 90-minute matches with a streak of 1,203:21 consecutive minutes dating back to November 2019.

Spring 2021 (Junior):  Academic All-PacWest ... started all four matches … played all 360 minutes … attempted one shot on-goal, coming vs. Hawai‘i Pacific (Feb. 20) … helped the team win its first-ever Pacific West Conference Hawai‘i Pod title.

2019 (Sophomore):  Academic All-PacWest … started all 14 games … saw 1,301 minutes, second-most among position players …  key member of defensive unit that surrendered 21 goals and 1.50 goals per game, both single-season records.

2018 (Freshman):  Academic All-PacWest ... played all 14 matches with eight starts ... attempted five shots, two on goal.

Prep:  A 2018 graduate of Mililani High School in Mililani, O'ahu ... won O'ahu Interscholastic Association titles all four years with the Trojans, two with the varsity and two with the junior varsity ... helped guide Mililani to the No. 2 seed in the 2018 Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division I Championships and the No. 1 seed in the 2017 tournament ... was the JV team's Most Valuable Player in sophomore year ... played club soccer for Leahi 2000 Premier ... Leahi was 2016 USYS Hawai'i state champions and Surf Cup champions ... was USYS Region IV Presidents Cup champions and USYS Presidents Cup National champions in 2015.

Personal:  Parents are Dean and Wendy Nishimura ... has two brothers, Dane and Danen ... majoring in Biology ... would like to attend graduate school and pursue optometry or radiology after graduating ... enjoys hanging out with friends ... can play the piano ... is left-handed but kicks right-footed.
