Personal: Erin Keelan was born on June 11, 1989 in Hilo, Hawaii. She started playing softball in high school as a sophomore. Her senior year she earned a starting position at shortstop, while in high school she participated in the RBI Nobu Yamaguchi Tournament. During her senior year her team won the championships and advanced to the RBI World Series. Her team placed 3^rd overall and was the only team from the Islands in the tournament. She is the daughter of Virginia Keelan. Erin has one brother, Nicholas Keelan and one sister, Shawna Keelan.
