The 2025-26 season is the eighth for Dantley Walker as an assistant for the Chaminade University men's basketball team and his fourth as associate head coach. During his tenure, he has helped the Silverswords earn four straight trips to the Pacific West Conference Tournament while the teams have posted four upsets over opponents ranked in the NABC or D2SIDA Division II Top 25 polls.

During the 2019-20 season as a second-year assistant, Walker helped the Silverswords advance to their sixth appearance in the Pacific West Conference Tournament while their first round win over Academy of Art was the program's eighth victory in the championships which set a then-tournament record. Earlier in the year, Chaminade toppled 16th-ranked Point Loma which was the first road over a nationally-ranked opponent in 14 years.

In his first year as an assistant, he helped guide the Silverswords to a 23-8 mark which set a program record for victories in the Division II era. The 'Swords also earned an at-large bid to the NCAA West Regionals, the team's first postseason berth since 2014.

Walker, a three-time Academic All-PacWest honoree, enjoyed a three-year career with the Silverswords (2015-18) as one of the top 3-point shooters in program history. His 130 career triples ranks ninth in program history, ending his playing eligibility with a career-best 58 in the 2017-18 season.

One of his finest performances was on Nov. 23, 2017, when he set career-highs with 23 points, seven 3-pointers, three assists and three steals in the 'Swords' 96-72 win over Division I Cal at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, the program's eighth win in the prestigious tournament and the largest margin of victory over a Division I opponent.

Prior to Chaminade, Walker spent two years (2013-15) including a redshirt season at Division I UNLV.

The native of Panaca, Nev., had a stellar prep career at Lincoln County High School, shattering numerous school and state records. He departed as the state of Nevada's all-time leading scorer (3,304 points) and is also the state's career leader in assists (887) and 3-pointers (475). In his senior year at Lincoln County, Walker earned Parade All-American High School First Team honors after averaging 36.2 points and 10.3 assists per game with his 1,123 points being a single-season state record.

Walker graduated from Chaminade in the Spring 2018 with a degree in Historical and Political Studies with a minor in Religious Studies.
