D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... team’s Most Inspirational Player … played 20 games with seven starts … averaged 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds … totaled six assists and seven steals … career-high 10 points vs. Concordia (Dec. 1), making all three shots including first career 3-pointer … pulled down career-best five rebounds at Hawai‘i Pacific (Feb. 27) … made first career start against Lubbock Christian (Nov. 27), the No. 1-ranked team in Division II.

Spring 2021 (Redshirt Sophomore):  Academic All-PacWest and D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... team’s Scholar-Athlete … played 10 games, averaging 4.8 minutes per game … totaled two points, seven rebounds and three assists during the season … posted both points with four boards and two assists in 10 minutes vs. Hawai‘i Pacific (Feb. 12).

2019-20 (Redshirt Freshman):  Academic All-PacWest … team’s Scholar-Athlete … played 15 games … totaled 13 points, 10 rebounds and 43 minutes … season-highs of four points and three rebounds at Notre Dame de Namur (Dec. 19) … posted season-high seven minutes vs. NDNU (Jan. 11) … made first career field goal attempt vs. Division I power Kansas (Nov. 25).

2018-19:  Redshirted.

Prep:  A 2018 graduate of Kamehameha-Kapalama School in Honolulu ... twice earned Honolulu Star-Advertiser Fab-15 all-state and All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu First Team honors (2017, '18) ... ranked sixth in the Star-Advertiser's All-State Defensive Team in senior year while earning Kamehameha's Male Athlete of the Year ... earned All-ILH Second Team honors in sophomore season ... played club for Boom Basketball, Earl Watson Elite Hawai'i, Hawai'i Select and All Net Hawai'i ... also played volleyball for the Warriors since seventh grade and was named All-ILH First Team in senior year.

Personal:  Parents are Nelson and Jan Young ... has two brothers, Tarance Icari and Trent Icari ... major is Biochemistry ... enjoys going to the beach with family and friends ... during senior year at Kamehameha, was asked to be a guest speaker for the elementary school and gave him an opportunity to teach them about being confident about one's uniqueness and to be okay with sharing who you are as a person ... would like to help other local basketball players find a way to play collegiate basketball in the future.
