2019 is the second year for Joshua Cordwin as an assistant coach for the Chaminade University men's and women's cross country teams.
Cordwin was a member of the Silverswords men's cross country team from 2014 to '17, receiving his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in the spring of 2018. He was a four-time Academic All-Pacific West Conference honoree and three times was decorated as the team's Scholar-Athlete.
Cordwin participated in 21 career races and enjoyed four top-10 overall finishes, all coming in his senior year including a career-best 8k time of 27:10.2 at the HPU Invitational. His seventh-place finish was his personal best.
Cordwin is a native of Omaha, Neb.
