Cross Country:  Academic All-PacWest ... named team's Most Inspirational Runner ... participated in all five races ... recorded first career top-10 finish at 8k HPU Invitational (Oct. 5 at Kahuku Golf Course), finishing ninth overall and third-place team finish, highest-ever, in 34:35.5 ... recorded season-best 8k time of 32:59.11 in final career race at PacWest Championship (Oct. 26 in Fullerton, Calif.).
Soccer:  Academic All-PacWest ... made first career start and saw one minute of action against Holy Names (Nov. 14) on Senior Day.


2018 (Junior):
Cross Country:  Academic All-PacWest ... participated in three races, finishing all three with fifth-place team finishes ... top 8k time was 34:06.9 at PacWest Championship (Nov. 2) at Woodward Park, Calif., finishing 74th overall.
Soccer:  Member of the Silverswords' soccer team but did not see any field time.

2017 (Sophomore):
Cross Country:  Academic All-PacWest ... competed in all five races ... had three fourth-place team finishes ... top 5k time was 21:49.0 at Chaminade Invitational (Sept. 16) ... finished 8k PacWest Championships (Oct. 21) in 39:10.8.
Soccer:  Member of the Silverswords' soccer team but did not see any field time.

2016 (Freshman):
Cross Country:  Academic All-PacWest ... participated in three races, all 8ks ... posted top time of 35:27.0 at 8k Chaminade Invitational (Oct. 8) with a team finish of fifth ... ran 8k PacWest Championship (Oct. 22) in 39:09.75 at Kamehameha-Hawai'i School.
Soccer:  Was member of Silverswords men's soccer team and played five minutes at Notre Dame de Namur (Nov. 5).

High School:  A 2016 graduate of Hawai'i Techology Academy, an public charter high school based in Waipahu, O'ahu with in-person and online instruction ... played high school soccer at Kapa'a High in Kapa'a, Kaua'i ... helped guide the Warriors to three Kaua'i Interscholastic Federation championships, two with the junior varsity (2013-14) and one with the varsity (2015) ... named to the KIF All-Star Team as a junior and senior ... graduated with an Academic Honors Recognition certificate.

Personal:  Parents are Michael and Maxima Schmidt of Hanalei, Kaua'i ... has an older step-sister, Britney, and a younger brother, Luke ... majoring in Forensic Science with a minor in Computer Science ... hobbies include playing video games and binge-watching NetFlix ... has never run cross country but has played baseball and soccer since age 5 ... is also playing for the Chaminade men's soccer team in 2016.
