Fall 2021 (Senior): Utilized NCAA season-of-competition waiver for an extra year of eligibility … Academic All-PacWest ... D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... played 12 matches with 11 starts, logging 949 minutes … finished third on team in points (7) with one goal and five assists which tied the program single-season record … tied for sixth in the PacWest in assists … had assists in consecutive games (Oct. 25 at Point Loma; Oct. 30 at Dominican) … attempted 24 shots, 10 on-goal, both team highs … SOG percentage of 0.417 … went 1-for-1 in penalty kicks … played career-high 92 minutes at Dominican (Oct. 30) … played all 90 minutes in final career match at Fresno Pacific (Nov. 6), tying season-high with four shots with season-best three shots on-goal.
Spring 2021 (Senior): Academic All-PacWest ... played all four matches, all starts … led team with two assists, both coming on corner kicks to Tasman Turner (Hawai‘i Hilo, Feb. 27 and Hawai‘i Pacific, March 7) … played season-high 82 minutes vs. HPU (March 7) … attempted five shots, two on-goal.
2019 (Junior): Academic All-PacWest … tied program single-season record with 16 points while setting the points-per-game mark with a 1.36 goals average … had seven goals, second-most in single-season team history and tied for ninth in the Pacific West Conference … also had two assists … played 12 games with 10 starts … logged 713 minutes … attempted 25 shots, 14 on goal ... named PacWest Player of the Week (Sept. 13) for scoring four goals in two games including a hat trick in his first game as a 'Sword at Colorado Christian (Sept. 13), just the second such occurance in team history.
Previous School: Attended Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kan., for two years ... helped Barton reach the NJCAA National Championship match in 2018 ... named to the All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Second Team after totaling 17 points with five goals and seven assists ... had a team-high 12 goals with six assists during freshman season (2017), earning All-KJCCC First Team and All-Region VI honors and helped the Cougars reach the Plains District semifinals.
Prep: A graduate of Wirtschaftgymnasium Westerburg in Cologne, Germany ... played club soccer with EGC Wirges and TuS Koblenz which won several conference titles and qualified for a tournament which selected players for the U18 German National Team.
Personal: Parents are Steffen and Birgit Roemer ... has a brother, Rico ... majoring in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration ... worked for a world-famous shoe company as a youth and would like to return working there or earn a Master's degree in Germany after graduation ... was one of the best 30 players at the Nike Academy in his home country.
