2018 (Junior):  Played six matches with 37 total minutes ... saw season-high 12 minutes vs. Hawai'i Pacific (Sept. 1).

Previous School:  Was a two-year starter (2015-16) at NJCAA Division I soccer power Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, N.J. and helped guide the Vikings to an undefeated regular season in freshman year ... was team captain and had five goals and two assists as a sophomore including two-goal and one-assist game vs. Union ... had three goals and an assist as a freshman in helping MCCC to a 16-0-2 regular season ... Mercer was nationally ranked as high as No. 2 in the NJCAA Division I poll, finishing the year ranked seventh ... helped Mercer to a Region XIX title and a semifinalist appearance in the Northeast District ... only loss that season was in the district finals via penalty kicks.

High School:  A 2013 graduate of South Dade High School in Homestead, Fla. ... was team captain and was highly decorated in senior year, leading the county with 29 goals and eight assists ... became first male soccer player in school history to earn All-Dade County First Team and all-state honors after helping to lead the Buccaneers to its first district playoff appearance since 1999 and helped them reach the regional finals ... named the Boys Soccer 5A-4A Player of the Year, Florida's top athletic league ... was selected for the First Annual Dade vs. Broward County All-Star Game ... played club soccer for the Homestead Hawks and was team captain each season and was the team's leading scorer each year along with winning several club championships.

Personal:  Father is Carlos Manuel Leal ... mother is Gina Boza Ventura ... is one of five siblings ... has three sisters; Tatiana, Thalia and Carina; and a brother, Carlos ... majoring in Psychology ... would like to play soccer professionally then become a physical therapist ... played baseball until discovering soccer at a young age when a soccer ball was kicked at his feet ... hobbies include going to the beach, hiking, snowboarding and going to the gym ... nickname is "Papo" ... would like to thank his mother for her support to play soccer ... also is thankful to his club coach Marlon Aguilar and teammates because "if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be the player I am today."
