2014 (Senior):  Academic All-Pacific West Conference Team honoree ... named team's Most Outstanding Player ... played in 15 games with 14 starts ... scored only goal of season in a 3-2 win at Hawai'i-Hilo ... had a shots on goal percentage of .250 (8 shots, 2 on goal).

2013 (Junior):  Named to the Pacific West Conference All-Academic Team ... started all 15 games played ... finished second in points (4) and goals (2) ... recorded a .533 shots on goal percentage (15 attempts, 8 on goal) ... scored first goal of the season at Point Loma (Oct. 3) with two shots on goal ... had a goal against Holy Names (Oct. 31) with two shots, one on goal.

2012 (Sophomore):  Played in six matches, started four.  Recorded one assist on the season.

Tusculum College:  Started 15 games with one assist for Coach Steve Voltz at Tusculum College.  The Pioneers finished the year 2-12-3. Was named on the Athletic Director’s honor roll in Fall 2010.

High School:  A soccer standout for Blaxland High. Captained the team for three years from 2006-08. Started at center midfield and center back. He was named the soccer team MVP in 2006 and '08. He also finished fifth in the state in 400m while competing in track and field. Matthew was Nepean First Team in 2006, '07 and '08 in soccer as well as First Team All-Area in track and field his senior year.  Was a Sydney West First Team selection in track and field in 2006, '07 and '08. Davies was the Recipient of the Pierre De Coubertin award for best sports person of the school in 2008.

Personal: The son of Gary and Edwina Davies, Matt was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  One of two children, Matthew has atwin sister, Sian.  Hobbies include: watching sports and hanging with mates.
