Outfield coach George LaRosa is in his 12th year with the Chaminade University softball team in 2023. He returned to the program in 2021 after taking a year off for work purposes.
 
LaRosa coached in the high school level here in Hawai`i for 20 years.  LaRosa also has his own ASA softball club, Na Kolohe, since 1992.
 
A 1974 graduate of St. Louis School, LaRosa attended Texas A&M University.  He retired in September 2013 after 29 years as an officer with the Honolulu Police Department.
 
LaRosa is currently with the police unit at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu and is a captain on the second watch.

He and his wife, Trini, have three children and three grandchildren.
