Biography

Career:  Ranks third all-time in walks (59), fourth in on-base percentage (.404) and OPS (.783) and eighth in slugging percentage (.379).
 
2022 (Senior):  All-PacWest Third Team at outfield … Academic All-PacWest ... Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete ... D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... team’s Scholar-Athlete … played 35 games with 32 starts … third on team with .294 average … finished second in runs (13) … had 25 hits, three doubles, one home run and six RBI … on-base percentage of .365, slugging percentage of .365, OPS of .730 … fielding percentage of .980 with 45 putouts, four assists and one error … had six multi-hit games and had a six-game hitting streak (April 18-24) … hit go-ahead sixth-inning home run vs. Academy of Art (April 18) … went 3-for-4 with two runs vs. Hawai‘i Pacific on Senior Day (April 24).

2021 (Senior):  Academic All-Pacific West Conference ...  D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... started all 24 games, 21 in right field and three at designated player … finished third with .299 average … led team with 15 walks and tied for first with six doubles … tied for second in runs (10) and total bases (26) … third in slugging percentage (.388) and on-base percentage (.427) … had 20 hits and seven RBI … finished tied for 147th nationally in toughest-to-strike out ratio at 16.8 (four Ks in 67 at-bats) … fielding percentage of .952 … had six multi-hit games (all two hits each) including the first three games of the year … had two multi-RBI contests, both coming in the season-opening doubleheader at Hawai‘i Pacific (March 7) … scored game-winning run in 10th inning vs. HPU (March 26) … had two games with four putouts, last at HPU (April 20).

2020 (Junior):   Academic All-PacWest … team’s Scholar-Athlete … started all 12 games at right field before COVID-19 pandemic canceled the season on March 16 … finished second on team with .323 average and led in on-base percentage (.488) … co-leader in hits (10) and runs (4) … led in walks and had team-leading three stolen bases (in three attempts), first steals of career … tied for second in total bases (11) … fielding percentage of 1.000 with 16 putouts and two assists … hit .500 (4-of-8) in first three games of the season … went 2-for-2 in steals, scored twice and had two outfield assists in season-opening game vs. British Columbia (Feb. 18) … scored game-winning run vs. conference-leading Biola (March 9) with season-high six putouts … had base hits in eight of the team’s 12 games and had a four-game hit streak towards the end of the season.

2019 (Sophomore):  Earned All-Pacific West Conference Second Team honors at utility ... Academic All-PacWest ... played 46 games with 42 starts ... made 18 starts at catcher, 17 at designated player and seven in right field ... batting average of .240 with team-leading four homers and 19 RBI ... also led team in walks (22) ... scored 15 runs ... slugging percentage of .400 and on-base percentage of .389 ...  in four-game series vs. Dominican (March 15-16), went 7-for-13, six RBI, three runs, two home runs and two doubles with both homers being either game-tying or go-ahead ... doubled twice vs. Academy of Art (April 6) ... threw out two runners attempting to steal with 49 putouts and five total assists (one outfield assist).

2018 (Freshman):  Academic All-PacWest ... played 17 games with eight starts ... made seven starts at catcher and one at designated player ... hit .267 with two runs and a double ... first career base hit was a double vs. Biola (Feb. 26) ... went 2-for-2 in next game vs. BU (Feb. 27) ... had a .913 fielding percentage with 19 putouts, two assists and two errors .. threw out a runner trying to steal vs. Azusa Pacific (March 6) ... part of defense that finished No. 1 nationally in double plays per game (0.65).

High School:  A 2017 graduate of Campbell High School ... helped guide the Sabers to the 2017 Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division I championship, making two pinch-hitting appearances ... was on Campbell's track and field team in junior year ... graduated with honors and in the top 10 percent of her class ... graduated Summa Cum Laude (GPA of 3.8) ... club team was Hawai'i Gold.

Personal:  Parents are Melvin and Jerissa Moisa ... has two sisters, Majesty and Myken Moisa ... majoring in Forensic Science ... would like to become a medical examiner for the Honolulu Police Department ... was born and raised in Aiea then moved to current hometown of Ewa Beach in the seventh grade ... played volleyball at age 10.
