Biography

High School:  Shalin was a member of the James Campbell softball team from 2004-08. She was named to the All State second team as a catcher in 2007. Named to the All State First Team in 2008 as a catcher. Was named the OIA First Team catcher in 2007 and 2008.

Personal:  Shalin lived in Ewa Beach her whole life, but played her childhood athletics on the windward side of the island. She is the daughter of Dean Yamaguchi and Cassie Sakane.  Has a brother graduating from Saint Martins University in Lacey, Washington this semester and a half brother Ty who enjoys playing baseball.  Majoring in Nursing and Psychology.
