Biography

High School: Skye was a four year member of the Mililani High School Trojans softball team. She was named the JV MVP on her team. In the 2004-05 seasons she was named to OIA Red West First team as a catcher. In 2005-06 she was the Star Bulletin’s All State 1st team as a catcher. She was named to the Honolulu Advertiser’s 2005-06 All State 2nd team as a catcher. In 2005-06 she was selected to the Honolulu Advertiser’s all tournament team as a catcher. Lastly, she was the 2006-07 OIA Red West 2nd team as a catcher.

Her best high school performance came in the 2005-06 State Championship game against the Pearl City Chargers. She batted 3 for 3 …. ( need more info)

Freshman Year:

  Skye played in 27 games and started in 23 games. She recorded 18 hits, 2 of which were doubles. She walked 4 times and had a batting average of 2.90.

Personal: Skye was born in Honolulu, HI. She is the daughter of Gordon and Patty Virtudes. She has two brothers, Gordon and Gabe. Her cousin, Makani Duhaylonsod- Kaleimamahu, plays for the University of Hawaii Softball team.
