The 2016-17 season will mark the seventh year for Anthony Saito as an assistant coach for Chaminade women's basketball. His duties with the team include working with the post players and player development.

Saito's daughter, Samantha, played for the Silverswords from 2006-10 and is the all-time leading scorer in program history with 1,141 points and is also the Silverswords' career-leader in assists (354) and steals (166).
