Biography

Career:  Departed as program's career-leader in blocks (71) ... ranks sixth in points (547), second in rebounds (370), fourth in rebounds per game (4.9), fourth in field goals made (217), fourth in field goal percentage (38.8), fifth in games played (76), fourth in games started (67) and sixth in minutes played (1,850).

2015-16 (Senior):  Played in seven games, making six starts ... averaged 3.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game ... had season-highs of seven points vs. Hawai'i-Hilo (Dec. 10) and six rebounds vs. Holy Names (Dec. 5) ... tied career-high with three blocks vs. Southern Wesleyan (Dec. 17).

2014-15 (Junior):  Finished fifth in scoring at 8.0 ppg and second in rebounding at 5.6 rpg ... started 20-of-21 games ... shot 40.1 percent from the floor and 61.0 percent from the free throw line ... had team-high 13 blocked shots ... had a season-high 20 points and career-high 10 rebounds in win vs. BYU-Hawai'i for first career double-double ... hit game-winning field goal with five seconds remaining in 58-56 win at Hawai'i-Hilo (Jan. 31) ... recorded four double-digit scoring games ... had four nine-rebound games ... had season-best two blocks four times ... made first career 3-pointer vs. Montana State-Billings (Nov. 28) ... ended season ranked first in career rebounds (345) and blocked shots (67) and fifth in scoring (426).

2013-14 (Sophomore):  Named team's Most Inspirational Player ... started 23-of-25 contests … finished second in scoring at 9.5 points and rebounding at 5.1 rpg … set the school-record with 35 blocked shots and ranked fifth in the Pacific West Conference at 1.4 bpg … recorded 28 steals, ranking third on the team … shot a team-best 39.5 percent from the floor … had a career-high 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor at Dixie State (Feb. 15) … tallied three season-high nine-rebound games … had nine double-digit scoring games, two with 20-plus … had five three-block contests … career-high five steals vs. Notre Dame de Namur (Feb. 20).

2012-13 (Freshman):  Started 18-of-23 games ... averaged 5.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game ... set a single-season school record with 19 blocked shots ... finished 15th in the Pacific West Conference in blocks, averaging 0.8 bpg ... shot 39.8 percent from the floor, tied for the team lead ... was third in rebounding (4.4 rpg).

High School:  Was a three-year varsity player at Kamehameha-Kapalama, earning second team Interscholastic League of Honolulu honors as a junior.

Personal: The daughter of Kristie Kane and Thomas Akana, Kennedi has two sisters, Alex and Makana ... majoring in communications at Chaminade ... enjoys saimin, the beach, spending time with friends and family and is fluent in Hawaiian.
