2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman):  Played five games with four starts ... had three points on a three-point play in season opener vs. St. Thomas Aquinas (Nov. 20) ... dished out two assists vs. Minot State (Nov. 21) ... had two rebounds twice, last vs. Northwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 23) ... recorded a steal vs. Fresno Pacific (Nov. 29).

2017-18:  Redshirted.

Previous School:  Attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. in 2016-17 but did not play due to illness.

High School:  A 2016 graduate of Kailua High School in Kailua, O'ahu ... garnered numerous accolades with the Surfriders including earning All-O'ahu Interscholastic Association four times ... named to the All-OIA East Second Team, all-state second team, ScoringLive All-Hawai'i honorable mention and Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-Defensive First Team in senior year after finishing senior year fifth in the OIA (eighth in the state) with a 14.4 ppg average ... also finished third in the OIA (12th in the state) with 15 made 3-pointers ... also had 85 assist and 68 steals ... was second team all-state, All-OIA East Second Team and Star-Advertiser All-Defensive Second Team during junior year ... all-state, honorable mention all-OIA and Star-Advertiser All-Defensive second team as a sophomore ... all-OIA, all-state honorable mentiona and all-defense honorable mention during freshman year ... played club ball with Kalakaua Basketball under the legendary Dennis Agena ... also played club for the Central Side Assault for Elroy Dumlao.

Personal:  Parents are Ryan and Tammy Takata ... has older brother, Tyler, and younger sister, Tayvia ... majoring in Nursing ... would like to attend graduate school to be a nurse practicioner after graduation ... enjoys hanging out with friends and family, going to the beach, cooking, playing basketball, working out and eating ... grew up playing softball and soccer but concentrated on basketball, her favorite sport ... won a cooking competition in high school.
