Biography
2009: Competed for the Swords in 2009. Was Chaminade’s highest finisher at the Pac West Championships (23rd). Named to the 2009-10 Pac West Academic All Conference Team and received the ADA Academic Achievement Award.
2008: Named to the 2008-2009 Pac West Academic All Conference Team.
High School: Graduated as valedictorian in 2007 at Kapolei HS. During Ashlie’s senior year , received the award for Outstanding Scholar Athlete of the Year, Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) Water Polo 1st Team Member and Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) State team member.
Junior year at Kapolei, was the water polo MVP as well as led the league in scoring.
Personal: Born inTorrance, California to Paulo Salas-Selem and Anna Salas-Selem, Ashlie has three siblings: Bethanie, Marisol and Hector.
