The 2017 season will be the third for Sarah Olson as assistant coach for the Chaminade University men's and women's cross country teams. She got her first taste of coaching when she helped lead the club team she ran with, Team Idaho, to four cross country national championships from 2005-09.

A native of Boise, Idaho, Olson began her college career at Utah State, participating in cross country and track and field during her freshman and sophomore years. She then transferred to Oregon State for her final two years of college where she also participated in cross country and track and field.

Olson graduated from OSU with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2013 and is currently pursuing her Master's in Counseling at Chaminade, specializing in Marriage and Family therapy program.

Olson is a mid-distance and long-distance specialist. Her hobbies include runing, hiking, surfing and anything to do with the outdoors.
