2022 (Junior):  Academic All-Pacific West Conference ... played in 40 sets covering 21 matches ... helped Silverswords win their second straight Pacific West Conference title, an NCAA West Regional finals appearance and an AVCA national ranking in the final poll ... totaled 37 digs, 14 assists and five aces ... set career highs in digs (16 vs. Alaska, Aug. 20) and aces (3 vs. Dominican, Oct. 12) ... tied career-high with four assists twice ... recorded first career kill vs. Academy of Art (Sept. 16).

Fall 2021 (Sophomore):  Academic All-PacWest ... D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree ... played in 15 matches and 37 sets … helped Silverswords win first Pacific West Conference title since 1996 with a program-record 27 wins and a berth in the NCAA West Regional … also helped them achieve their first AVCA national ranking since 2005 … had 19 digs for 0.51 average … had six service aces and five assists … five digs and two aces, both season-highs, against Montana State Billings (Sept. 11) … also had two aces against Alaska Anchorage (Aug. 28).

Spring 2021 (Freshman):  Academic All-PacWest ... played 14 matches with one start … totaled 44 digs and six service aces … averaged 1.02 digs per set … season-high 13 digs vs. Hawai‘i Hilo (April 18).

Prep:  A 2020 graduate of James Bowie High School in Austin, Texas … was a three-year starter and helped lead the Bulldogs to four consecutive Division 6A playoffs … was a two-year captain … earned first team all-district as a junior and second team all-district as a senior … was academic all-district three times starting in sophomore year … was voted Most Coachable in junior season … played club with Austin Junior Volleyball 18 Elite.
 
Personal:  Parents are Richard and Margit Tsukano … has an older sister, Mia, who attends the University of Texas at Austin … majoring in Biology … would like to attend medical school … loves to travel, see new places and experience different cultures … is of half-Japanese and half-German descent … father is originally from O‘ahu and has visited Hawai‘i since the age of 2 … has relatives in Kailua, Kaneohe, Kaimuki, Mililani and Honolulu … also visits mother’s family in Germany … is bilingual (English and German) … has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Germany … would like to one day live in Europe and travel.
