Biography

Volleyball Career:  Fourth all-time in kills with 1,104 and ranks 11th in service aces with 77.

2016-17 (Senior):
Volleyball:
  Named All-Pacific West Conference Third Team and was the George Naoiokalani Burns Most Outstanding Player ... started all 29 matches and played in all 110 sets ... team's leading attacker at 2.98 kills per set with 328 kills and a .218 hitting percentage ... finished second in digs at 2.39 per set with 263 total ... had 24 total blocks (all assisted) and 18 service aces ... had six double-doubles ... earned PacWest Co-Player of the Week on Oct. 31 with an 18-kill with a .472 percentage (18-1-36) in a 3-1 win over California Baptist (Oct. 28), the program's first-ever conference win over CBU ... preceded that match with a career-high 22 kill, two-ace match while hitting .450 (22-4-40) win a 3-1 win over Notre Dame de Namur (Oct. 22) ... season-best hitting percentage of .516 (18-2-31) vs. San Francisco State (Sept. 3) ... had season-high two blocks four times, the last at Hawai'i Pacific (Nov. 18) ... season-high 18 digs twice (NDNU, Oct. 22; at BYU-Hawai'i, Nov. 4).
Tennis:  Named team's Most Inspirational Player ... went 1-12 in singles and 0-7 in doubles ... won first career singles match with 6-2, 6-3 win over Mills College's Dana Culpepper in No. 5 singles (March 21).

2015-16 (Junior):
Volleyball:  Named to the Academic All-Pacific West Conference honor roll ... played in 26 matches with 25 starts ... played 106 sets ... finished second on team in kills (256) and kills per set (2.42) ... third in service aces with 25 and ranked 21st in PacWest in aces per set (0.24) ... was fifth in total blocks with 33 (32 assisted) ... had 153 digs at 1.44 dps ... second in points with 298 ... season-high 17 kills in win over Dominican (Sept. 24) ... had season-best four blocks twice ... recorded four block assists in win over Humboldt State (Sept. 5) ... had season-high four aces at BYU-Hawai'i (Sept. 30) ... tallied season-best 13 digs in win at Dixie State (Oct. 7) ...hit season-high .583 (7-0-12) in win over Holy Names (Sept. 18) ... had seven multi-ace matches and two double-doubles.
Tennis:  Named to the Academic All-PacWest honor roll ... went 0-6 in singles, playing two matches each at No. 4, 5 and 6 spots ... went 0-4 in doubles ... played two matches with playing partner Emma Haurillon at No. 2 position and one match each at No. 3 with Hannah Parker and Jackie McGreal.

2014:  Did not enroll at Chaminade.

2013-14 (Sophomore): 
Volleyball:  Named to the Pacific West Conference All-Academic Team and was named team's Most Outstanding Player ... the only Silversword to start all 25 matches in the season ... led team and ranked 13th in the Pacific West Conference in kills per set at 2.99 with 257 kills ... had 291 points, 14th in the conference in points at 3.38 ... also led the Swords in service aces (17) ... finished third on the team in digs with 184 (2.14 per set) ... tallied 31 total blocks (28 assisted)... put down a season-high 19 kills while hitting .395 in a win at Hawai'i-Hilo (Sept. 26) ... recorded a season-best five total blocks (four assisted) in a win vs. Dominican (Nov. 1) ... posted a season-high three aces against Academy of Art (Oct. 24) ... had 6 double-doubles (kills-digs) on the year to lead the team.
Tennis:  Played in six total matches, going 0-5 in singles and 0-1 in doubles ... played one match in No. 5 singles and four in No. 6 singles.

2012 (Freshman):  Had one of the top debuts for a Silversword freshman, starting all 24 matches, logging double-digit kills with 15 ... led the team in kills with 263 ... had team-leading 3.17 kills per set average was the highest by a Sword since 2008 ... finished ninth in the Pacific West Conference, the first kill-per-set top-10 finish by a CUH player since 2009 ... was third on the team in service aces with 17 ... registered 139 digs and 22 total blocks ... logged 230.5 points (3.52 per set), which led the squad, good for 11th in the PacWest ... had a season-high 20 kills in a four-set win over Alaska (Sept. 6), then matched it two nights later in a four-set victory over St. Martin's, while also putting down a season-best five service aces.

Previous Experience:  Played from 2006-09 in the Junior Indoor National Team of Switzerland and in 2008 also on the Switzerland Beach Junior National Team ... contributed to three championships for Switzerland, one in beach volleyball and two for indoor volleyball.
 
Personal:  Parents are Jürg and Karin Spring ... born in Bern, Switzerland ... majoring in Forensic Science ... hobbies include singing, drawing, ice hockey and friends.
