Jeremy Pederson

    Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
Dr. Jeremy Pederson, PhD, handles the overall operation of the strength and conditioning program for the Chaminade University athletics department which compromises 10 intercollegiate sports and over 140 of its student-athletes. He's been with the athletics department since 2020.

After completing 23 years in the United State Navy, Pederson attended the University of Hawai'i-Manoa. Upon receiving his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitative Science from UH in 2018, Pederson became the assistant head strength coach at Maryknoll High School in Honolulu. While at Maryknoll he was responsible for training the boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' cross country and boys' and girls' track and field teams.

He returned to UH and completed his master's degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitative Science in 2019 while concurrently starting a nutrition diploma program through the International Olympic Committee.

During his spare time, Pederson received his PhD in Health and Human Performance at Concordia University-Chicago in the summer of 2025. He enjoys training and competing in ultra-distance triathlons.

He also enjoys spending time with daughters, Saren and Kona. They reside in Honolulu.
