Ben Salinas ran in his first 8-kilometer event of the season at the Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships on Oct. 23 at the Kahuku Golf Course, completing the course in 31 minutes, 26.1 seconds as the ’Swords’ second finisher in the race.
