Cassie Chong set a personal-best 6-kilometer time of 25:28.2 at the Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships in Irvine, California, on Oct. 26 . The sophomore was the third Silversword to cross the finish line and came in 71st of the 109 runners who finished.
