Morgan Escobedo had one of the best two-game stretches of her career, totaling 25 points, 17 rebounds, nine assists and eight steals while shooting a shade over 61 percent from the field. In the Jan. 2 win over Westmont, the sophomore posted her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 boards including the game-winning basket as time expired. She also had seven steals. Two days later, Escobedo set a career-high with 15 points with six boards and six assists against Vanguard. Her weekend effort also earned her the PacWest Player of the Week award.
