Honolulu, HI- A hard-working Carleton College squad got the best of the Silverswords tonight, defeating CUH 74-69.
Chaminade won the battle of the boards 38-27, but committed 15 turnovers to only 10 assists.
The Swords had three players in double-figures. Junior guard Jamar Berry had 30 points in defeat, while Mohamed Tangara added 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Shane Hanson added 11 points and 6 rebounds.
Chaminade was cold from the arc, going 4-18 for 27%.
Carleton senior Zach Johnson led the Knights with 27 points. Bryan Rosett added 20 points and 6 rebounds.
Chaminade falls to 0-4 on the year. The Swords play again on Friday against University of Alaska-Fairbanks at 7:30 PM HT. The game will be at McCabe Gym.
