Chaminade Women’s Volleyball Falls to #14 Nebraska-Kearney in Three Games

Honolulu, HI- Chaminade looked to rebound against the Lopers of Nebraska-Kearney today in McCabe Gym.  Unfortunately, the Lopers were ready.  Chaminade fell in three games 14-25, 21-25, 18-25.

 

Trina Kauliakamoa led for Chaminade with 9 kills and 6 digs, while Vanja Radanovic added 4 kills (.400) on the match.  Sophomore Pisila Tukia added 5 kills and 2 digs, while junior Courtney Lorusso had 8 kills to go along with 6 digs for CUH.

 

Nikki Scott led UNK with 13 kills, while Jeri Walkowiak and Kelsey Werner added 12 kills a-piece.  Cola Svec had 38 assists in the win for the Lopers.

 

The Silverswords were outhit .337 to .144 and out-dug 50-31. 

 

The Swords are back in action on September 5th in Ellensburg, WA facing Central Washington at 12:00 PM PT.  With the loss, Chaminade falls to 1-3 on the year.  Nebraska Kearney moves to 3-1.
